Diana and Pete Downey attended the Wedding of Kelley and Jon Crosbie in Des Moines, IA on December 29, 2007.
St. Ambrose Cathedral was an absolutely beautiful location, still decorated with Christmas finery.

Kelley was a beautiful bride and Jon a handsome groom
We have a video of the Wedding Vows. This should play over high speed web link. Turn up the sound, since we were a few rows back in church.

Joe Dunn's sister, Margaret Dunn Boes, cut up the dance floor with nephew Bill Dunn.

Margaret wore Bill out and then proceeded on to dance with Tom Dunn.

We even have a video of the Dancing Dunns - a little dark, but an occasional flash sheds some light on the dancers.

Thanks to Steve and Pat Kunz, who hosted a great reception at the Marriott Renaissance Savery Hotel where the guests stayed.

Kelley enjoyed greeting her Uncles Tom Dunn and Jim Hayward.

We had a chance to spend time with Bob Downey, Jim Hayward, Bill Dunn, and Mary Haward.

It was good to see Mark and Kathy Kubovich. It seems like just yesterday that they were the ones having the wedding.

Joan Dunn was able to show off her granddaughter.

And Joan's granddaughter found dancing partners in John and Ruth Dunn.

A top dance of the evening had to be Pat Kunz doing the Polka with Deacon John McCully.

Later Jon would be surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women.

And then Jon finally was able to become family one of the infamous "Dunn Boys." Why is it that everyone thinks that Jon will fit right in?

The next morning, Steve and Pat Kunz hosted a breakfast in their hotel suite.

Diana and Pat were able to relax and spend some time. What is it that seems to amuse Pat while apparently distressing Diana?

Steve spent some time with the Best Man and his wife.

Jon and Kelley were able to drop by.

Before heading out to Detroit, we had a chance to visit with Aunt Marguerite Dunn. She seems to be doing great, and she still swears that at 86, that's the natural color of her hair.

Diana and I were just a few of many who dropped by before heading home. Marguerite and John bid us farewell as we headed out for the drive back to Detroit.

Our best wishes to Jon and Kelley in their new life, and our thanks to Jon's parents for a great rehearsal dinner, and to Pat and Steve Kunz for a great wedding, reception, and breakfast the next morning.
